Secure Sender device
Secure Sender device
The Secure Sender device allows you to send messages from a remote Connexion system to the Queue device in another channel. To enable secure communications between the remote system and this queue, a public/private key pair must be generated by the Queue device and shared with the Secure Sender device.
The device configuration is divided into two tabs.
Destination
Complete the following fields:
- Server Address: the address of the destination server
- Server Port: the port that should be used to communicate with the destination server
- Target Queue Key: This is a secure key, displayed as a GUID, that will provide access to the target queue. The Target Queue Key is a GUID that is generated when the public key certificate is generated.
- Note: An explanatory note about the server
Public Key
The only field available is a text field into which you will pass the public key provided by the remote system's Queue device (the device that will receive the message). Generate the key from the Queue device and paste it into the Public Key field on the Secure Sender device that will transmit the message.
