Authorization

User authorization and variable permission sets have been introduced in the 14.1 release of Connexion. This allows more flexible authentication and the ability to assign roles (such as administrator, read-only, etc.) to each user and/or group. This feature set depends on the built-in security of Windows or Active Directory, and therefore security policies applied at the OS-level will apply to Connexion. For example, Connexion does not include any password policies (such as minimum strength or expiration).

Connexion supports many common deployment scenarios, although there is currently no way for non-domain machines to query external domains.

Please view the step-by-step guide on how to configure authorization and permissions.
