About HL7Spy

HL7Spy is an HL7 test and analysis tool. It was initially developed as an internal tool to help characterize the message exchange and mapping requirements for a PAC (Picture Archiving and Communications) system. It quickly became an indispensable tool, reducing time and effort to configure HL7 interfaces, and analyze and troubleshoot connectivity and message exchange issues. Because of the success of HL7Spy internally, we decided to productize HL7Spy hoping others would find it as useful as we do.

HL7Spy is still used on a daily basis by our own integration team. Improvements in the product come from our internal staff, or one of the hundreds of hospitals worldwide that use HL7Spy.
