This page summarized the changes coming in version 15 of the Integrator platform. Version 15 adds a significantly updated user interface with minor tweaks to the core technology.

  1. Addition of groups and tabs. The nesting pattern in Integrator is Device → Channel → Remote Agent → Tab → Group → Gateway. There is currently no functionality (such as process isolation) tied to tabs or groups.
  2. Addition of a 'Gateways UI' screen. This is similar to the 'Servers' screen in Connexion (and is in the same location).
    1. Allow the definition of multiple gateway connections with the ability to quickly switch between them via the Gateways drop-down.
    2. A UI which displays each component in the platform, with associated settings and remote agents.

3. Addition of Dashboard area. The main UI of the old version has been ported here, and addition fields added: OS version, .NET version, sandbox size, database size, free space.

4. Addition of group management screen with group drop-down control.

5. Addition of configuration screen, with Authorization configuration screen. This also required the addition of a new tab to the configuration wizard where the administrator users and groups are defined.

a. Authorization functions in the same manner as Connexion, where 'Roles' are created which map to one or more Local/Domain users/groups. A set of pre-defined permissions is associated with each role to control what each user is allowed to do:

b. Roles can be associated with groups, tabs, and remote agents to restrict roles to specific sets of remote agents:

6. Addition of Remote Agent Locking. Similar to channel-level locking in Connexion, remote agents can be locked for editing. Remote agents are read-only until a lock is taken. Lock information is available via tooltips and through the Lock dialog (locked by user, lock date time, etc.). Locks can be cleared if necessary.

7. Updated Remote Agent / Channel / Device UI. The management UI has been changed so that viewing / editing a device does not require opening a separate window. The device UI now appears in the lower half of the screen like Connexion. Channels are now nested within collapsible Remote Agents. 4 'sub-tabs' have been added to allow the bottom half on the screen (which only displays Device UI in Connexion) to have 4 views: Device UI, Remote Agent file browser, Remote Agent Settings, and Remote Agent Packages.

8. Add the ability to create and edit channels directly. Although it may still make sense to create channel templates within Connexion, you now have the ability to create, rename, and edit channels directly in the management UI:

9. Add the ability to copy / paste / import all channels within a channel file (was previously restricted to the first channel within a file).

10. Automatically convert SQL queue devices to Mongo queue devices on import. It is now very easy to copy channels from within Connexion and paste them into Integrator. Please note that you should still add any required packages/plugins prior to adding channels.

11. Optionally automatically deploy packages to a remote agent when adding a channel which utilizes a specific package.

12. Improve the channel export routine so that channels exported from Integrator have all changes (channel renamed,

13. Improve bulk move to gateway dialog:

14. Improve bulk deploy installer and bulk deploy package dialogs:

14. Add PHI masking mode. This allows message viewers to obfuscate content displayed on the screen (also in Connexion v15):

15. Support custom device context menus:

16. Improve pending RA process and tab. The pending tab is immutable and always the first tab. When empty is has a grey icon. When there are one or more pending remote agents, the icon changes to blue. Remote agents can be created or imported on this tab:
