HL7Spy is an HL7 test and analysis tool. It was initially developed as an internal tool to help characterize the message exchange and mapping requirements for a PAC (Picture Archiving and Communications) system. It quickly became an indispensable tool, reducing time and effort to configure HL7 interfaces, and to trouble shoot connectivity problems. Because of the success of HL7Spy internally, we decided to productize hoping others would find it as useful as we do.
HL7Spy is used on a daily basis by our own integration team and improvements in the product come from them, or one of the hundreds of hospitals world wide that use HL7Spy.
