Sql Server Service Broker Requirement
Sql Server Service Broker Requirement
This only applies to Connexion v13
SQL Server Dependency
When using an existing instance of SQL Server, a manual configuration of the Service Broker may be required.
If you receive the following exception in your logs, or Connexion doesn't appear to respond to channel events (such as start and stop), you need to enable the Service Broker on the Connexion database:
[CommandTableChangeNotification] - Error subscribing to Command table System.InvalidOperationException: The SQL Server Service Broker for the current database is not enabled, and as a result query notifications are not supported. Please enable the Service Broker for this database if you wish to use notifications.
Open SQL Server Management Studio and connect to the Connexion configuration database server. Right-click on the database and select properties. Click the 'Options' item and scroll down to the Service Broker item. Ensure this is set to true. The Connexion service will require restarting once this been changed.
